What Do We Treat?

People often ask us how natural therapies can help so many different health conditions – let’s face it, nowadays there are hundreds, if not thousands, of various health conditions that have been defined by medical science.

The short answer is that natural therapies focus on treating the whole person; on assessing each individual’s unique health profile from cellular function up to the mental and emotional level, and everything in between.  Viewing the body as a whole entity where the biochemistry of organs, blood, digestion, muscle, bone and brain are fundamentally interdependent, allows us to make connections that are often missed by modern medicine.

Underlying this approach is a deep respect for the self-regulating and self-healing nature of the physical body. We strongly believe the fundamental state of the body is to be well (even in old age), and if the body is not well it is our job to find out why and correct the problem, ultimately bringing it back into alignment with its basic, natural state of wellness.

Using advanced clinical testing, we find out what your body needs by testing for a range of deficiencies and imbalances.  By correcting these imbalances and deficiencies, we give your body the nourishment it needs in order to begin the healing process.  In our experience, the body will, if given the right nutrients, the right diet, proper rest and plenty of water, nearly always heal itself.  The challenge, of course, is finding out what it needs and what is stopping your body from healing itself.

The range of health complaints we treat is too large to list here, however we have summarised the most common kinds of complaints as follows:
